All intellectual property created by the various Lunaapeew Nations will be stored on Mukurtu (mukurtu.org), an indigenous hosting company created and owned by an Australian Aboriginal Community

This includes Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park in Brooklyn, NY, the Museum of New York in Manhattan, NY, and the Amsterdam Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In line with this, please note that King Alexander of the Netherlands recently apologized to nations in the Caribbean and Africa for enslaving their people.

With the help of our second language speaker in the Munsee dialect, we hope to spread and teach our fellow Lenape/Lunaápeew.

PLEASE NOTE: All of these activities will be done at the behest and with the guidance of the Chiefs and Clan mothers of each of the Lunaapeew Nations.

OBJECTIVES

1. To create an archive of the history of displacement from the various Lunaapeew/Lenape/Lenni-Lenape/Delaware (Lunaapeew) communities across Turtle Island in partnership with Rutgers University in Newark, NJ.

2. To create museum exhibits to showcase the history of the various Lunaapeew communities across Turtle Island.

3. To create a non-profit organization that consists of two representatives from each of the various Lunaapeew communities across Turtle Island.

4. To seek an apology from the Monarchy of the Netherlands as we enter the 400 year “markation” of the Dutch colonists’ arrival to Manahahtaanung in 2024.

5. To help our communities revitalize our Lenape/Lunaápeew language and culture.

6. To establish an annual Lunaapeew Powwow/Gathering in Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY starting in October 2024.

7. Supporting all Lunaápeew/Lenape communities.
