As part of our partnership with the Clement A. Price Institute on Ethnicity, Culture & the Modern Experience at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, all intellectual property created by the various Lenape/Lunaápeew Nations will be stored and owned by the hosting company established.

With the help of our partners, we hope to spread awareness and reveal the true history of Lŭnaapeewáhkiing.

Our hope is to grow our collective and unite our communities so that all voices are heard. With each new community that joins us, we become stronger.

This is only the beginning of truth and reconciliation.

With the help of our second language speaker in the Munsee dialect, we hope to spread and teach our fellow Lenape/Lunaápeew.

Our ULLN Pow Wow took place in November 2018 and September 2025. We hope to continue from here on to the future.

OBJECTIVES

1. To create an archive of the history of displacement from the various Lunaapeew/Lenape/Lenni-Lenape/Delaware (Lunaápeew) communities across Turtle Island

2. To create museum exhibits to showcase the history of the various Lenape/Lunaápeew communities across Turtle Island.

3. To create a non-profit organization that consists of two representatives from each of the various Lunaapeew communities across Turtle Island.

4. To seek an apology from the Monarchy of the Netherlands as we approach the 400-year mark of the Dutch colonists’ arrival to Manahahtáanung in 2024.

5. To help our communities revitalize our Lenape/Lunaápeew language and culture.

6. To establish an annual Lenape/Lunaápeew Powwow/Gathering in Manahahtáanung.

7. Supporting all Lunaápeew/Lenape communities.
